Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru Chardonnay

Calm and almost Sauvignon blanc like with hints of melon and slate. Poised and balanced and delicious. Very unlike the other two. Elegant

This is very advanced on where it should be. Drinkable, just, but sweet edges, sherry notes and butterscotch. Leflaive is a joke.

So this happened last night and it was fantastic! Clean, pure and dense, with electric energy and power, all the while appearing effortlessly weightless. For me this is a rare meeting with the #ChevalierMontrachet #GrandCru from @domaine_leflaive.

foral perfume supported by pears, citrus oils, grilled pineapple & meringue ~ almost honeyed but evolves into grapefruit & stones ~ needs time to shine
