Champans Volnay Pinot Noir

First glass of red wine in December 2015. It was a fun one!!! Excellent with Ny strip & caramelized yukon golds. This bring the fruit the spice and the funk! One of my faves of the vintage.

At Pressoir NYC burgh tasting - this 2009 from the magnum was best of the Volnays and best of the tasting overall - deep brooding structured fruit, stellar - and notably better than the 2008
