Vau-Ligneau Chablis 1er Cru Chardonnay

Wonderfully subtle fruit notes with a brisk acidity up front and very little linger on the palate.

2022: a subdued nose of lemon blossom, white fruits, a whiff of almond oil. Lightly impresses itself on palate with bracing acidity that creates a clean, saline sensation. Citrus and stone. Needs more time in bottle.

Side-by-side with village level, it’s imperceptibly bigger-more body, longer finish.
