Les Meix Chavaux Meursault Chardonnay

From the Stone Barns Cellar... Linear and complex tingling the palate with lemon curd, white peaches, crushed stone and saline. Finishes with great length and tons of energy.

Very bright with some development and nutty notes coming out.

Very nice wine. Balanced and showing a moderate nose and finish and good integration

Could have waited another 10 years likely, but I think it's in a really awesome place right now.

From wine list at Alinea. Lt gold, watery. Soft nose of pineapple, citrus, ginger, sweet fruit. Flabby in the mouth, even w 3 hrs of air. No acidity ever really came on. Disappointing.

Still reductive/youthful/mineral, the younger ones are made with more finesse & intensity, but this will continue to hold up for quite some time.

Rich & focused. Lemon, sour cream, smoke

2007. Linear. So much tension.

Wine for the vongole. Roulot blew the Lafon out of the water.
