Had a bit of asphalt/tar upon opening. That disappeared after a few moments. Cherry and strawberry start to show through.

Great village level wine. Morey st denis has become a go to. Very primary right now but delicious. Dark cherries, very aromatic. Good lift from the acid. Textbook, classic red burg

This is the VV. It started out wide open with raspberry fruit. Great purity with good acidity and persistence. Tannins clamp down the more air it gets but a terrific young wine.
