One of the wines of the night at our Hoboken Wine Group Riesling dinner. The complexity was off the charts!
A deep golden color with slight caramel notes, deeply vibrant in appearance.
The primary aroma notes were dried nectarine and deep honey notes, with veins of minerality, clove spice, and savory bouillon.
The palate was deep, expansive and long, with excellent acidity and flavor persistence. The honey makes me think there is indeed some botrytised grapes in the mix here.
