First time trying Domenico Clerico. Definitely can see how this leans a bit to the more powerful side but can’t argue with the quality and depth. Lots of balsamic, tar, and flowers. Great acid and tannins are still present but in check. Long finish. Fun one to try.

Absolutely stunning—once it opened up, what remained was racy red-black fruit, plum, tar, and the longest finish imaginable. Memorable wine.

Excellent mature Barolo. Floral and berry on the nose. Tobacco, subtle dark berries, and a hint of licorice. Perfect accompaniment for a veal chop!

Nose of sweet pipe tobacco with a palate full of ripe blackberries and plums. Iron notes on the finish with ripe tannins. Still has plenty of time but drinking great

Beautiful mature Barolo. Big nose of smoke, tar, and earth with a hint of sweet dark fruit. Palate of ripe plums with smoke, porcini mushrooms and a black cherry finish that goes on and on. Hello!

Nice fruit, good time to drink.
