Notes of black cherry, roses, cranberries, tea, road tar, menthol, soy sauce and a little smokiness. Very big in the mouth. Fruit is matched against a lot of structure and backbone. Great tonight with osso bucco. Has a long life ahead of it.

Terrific now and no point in holding further. Classic aged Nebbiolo profile. Beautiful aromatics and lovely wood smoke, iron, tar, dark berry fruit in the mouth.

1990 vintage. Medium ruby hue. On the nose,, leather and animal, dark cherry, sweet spices. Rich. On the palate, full body, medium acidity, medium plus alcohol and full concentration. Medium finish. Not my style.
