Dominio de Pingus
Flor de Pingus Ribera del Duero Tempranillo

Bold dry dark berry fruit, bitter chocolate, tar, slightly dusty, still robust tannin. Needed well over an hour of air to open up. Big, but balanced. Drink now (decant!) or continue to cellar for 5+ years. Optimal pairing for lamb.

Man this always hits the spot if you give it some time in the bottle. A truly outstanding bottle and one of the best "2nd labels" out there!

Refined and modern with a red fruit core, licorice, roasted meats, incense, toasted oak, and mouth tingling minerality. Great structure for the long haul, vibrant acidity, long finish with silky tannins.

Excellent on open. Hitting its stride. It's in the window. Delicious. Stewed / dried fruit. Chocolate cherries. Aged balsamic.
