(The Importer label obscured the vintage, so I pealed it back β€” πŸ™„πŸ€·) Much darker purple than the Dolcetto, richer and riper purple plum fruit as well (I just finish picking the remaining fruit off our plum tree before the birds and squirrels finished it, so I have ripe dark plum on the brain!!), this has nice weight, solid balancing acidity, long, lingering finish, only nit is it’s 14.5% ABV!?!?
