Dark ruby color. Aromas of red cherry/berry fruit, violets, wet earth and oak. Black berry/cherry/raspberry fruit flavors with notes of baking spices, black licorice and Earl Grey Tea. Long and oaky finish with reasonable acidity. Just seems to me that another unknown (bold red) grape is blended in to this wine because the texture and mouthfeel (not typical Pinot) is so full.
