Gigondas Red Rhone Blend

Great vertical. No consistent favorite amongst the group. All showed very well.

Chewy juicy red fruit. White pepper. Not the worlds biggest Grenache fan

Stinky old world wine. 375ml. Just popped. Graphite. Minerals. Actually nice smooth texture. Tannins held at bay. $16 gift. Enjoying this.

Nothing special but a decent Gigondas, open now with a bit of air, with plenty left in the tank for the next 5-10 years. Nice dusty fruits.

A 2009 good drinking but a bit 4 square everything in its place but no excitement

Guigal Gigondas 2009 - tremendous wine, spectacularly flavorful, complex and drinkable. Spicy but not hot; well blended and smooth. Drank well with goulash zuppe. Fantastic.
