A bit over the top at first, but mellowed slightly as it opened up. Big dark fruit aromas with a fair amount of oak. Would love to try again in 3-5 years.

2008 vintage. notes of dark chocolate, coffee. strong tannins, long finish. built for the long haul but in a great place now. 93+
