Interesting path on that name. Back label says they are trying for empathy via the pocketbook by making fancy wines available to all. Hmm. The alcohol is sky high (15.3% abv). Color is dark. Smells like berries, rust and red meats. Earthy perhaps. Flavors are cola and jams. Hint of tar or leather. This is certainly a CA big boy pinot noir. It’s ok. Pretty standard for an affordable and middle market Pinot from the central coast. The name got me, and I didn’t even drink it with the big empath I bought it for lol…

Needed time to breathe. A nice soft young Pinot Noir. Balanced fruit forward. Enjoyed on Saturday night with Rafael.
