Les Pommiers Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

Nice, simple Pinot, hint of cherry, a bit of a bitter aftertaste on its own, but rounds out nicely when aired and paired with a red sauce meal.

A bit smokier and fruit forward than in the past. Maybe needs more age? Or it’s this vintage? Didn’t love as much as we have.

Good staple. Earthy and balanced with some fruit but not overly so.
