This is one of my Trader Joe's go-to wines. A good value at $10/bottle. I tend to prefer a pinot noir that drinks more like a burgundy- medium body, leaner, more subdued fruit, with interesting minerally overtones. Those tend to be at much higher price points. This wine reminds me a bit of that burgundy style. Though the mineral content is light, the fruit does not overwhelm. I last enjoyed this wine with grilled marinated pork loin, and the pairing was pleasant. I recommend chilling it a little more than normal, like mid-fifties degrees F.

Pretty tasty pinot for $10, sometimes you go to traders and want to pick up a good, everyday wine on a budget and this totally fits the bill. Good fruit, nice balance and finish.
