Oddly much less enjoyable than the bottle of this we had over the summer. Decanted the same amount of time, same overall conditions, paired with a similar italianish meal. This time it just doesn’t express that much. Overly dusty and muddled.

Excellent Brunello especially for <$40. Decanted for 2 hours which was the right call. Could take a few more years, but very nice and a great pairing with a sausage and fresh pesto pasta with charred green beans off the grill. Lovely nose, great balance and depth on the palate, long finish with nice acid.
