Napa Valley Zinfandel

Traditional. Zin, petite sirah and carignon. Great fruity taste!

My fave from our Napa trip

From taste: restrained, bright raspberry/blackberry nose, fennel and nutmeg spices, dash vanilla. Soft and svelte on palate, not oaky, heavy or syrupy, a quite refined zinfandel. Decent acidity and a tart, creamy finish with just a touch of residual sugar. Quite good, but overpriced as usual at $45.

Decent Zin blend, heavy earthy tones, good balance of Syrah, paired well with brick oven pizza

Fruit evident but definitely not a fruit bomb. Soft and well balanced with a good alcohol level.

Such a smooth and supple zin. Not overripe and over alcoholic, 13.5%, and plenty of long clear fruit characters

Opened up and improved as we drank it.

Coconut, vanilla, dark fruit, forest floor on the nose, vanilla nutmeg, dark fruit, plum compote, black pepper high acidity, medium soft tannins long finish. Yummy!

I don't like Chardonnay, but I would buy this again.
