Piesporter Domherr kabinett Riesling

Haven’t had in 1.5 years and wow. Stunner. Nose is slate, lime zest and a hint of confectionery aromas. Gorgeous purity. Palate is just stunning. Juicy and lean with loads of tasty slate and lime flesh. So zesty and pure. Amazing texture and balance.

I love this bottling. Nose has that crushed rock minerality and vulcanized rubber. Herbs, apricots and kumquats. It has that small citrus and stone fruit thing going on. Wow that is concentrated and has insane off the wall minerality but it’s so round and juicy and caressing. This is so elegant and so refined and has such grace and class. A big step up from Grafeneberg in refinement and complexity. Palate has so much lime zest, lime blossom and lime flower. Zesty with tremendous acids and finishes very very mineral. Cut from a diamond style Riesling. Wow. So so impressive.

Stone fruit aromas, lemon, lots of lime, with a slate and smoke background, white flowers. Palate with super fresh acidity, good concentration. At least a 30 year wine.
