Wehlener Sonnenuhr Kabinett Riesling

Just immaculate and wispy. Long. Prefect RS to acid ratio.

As classic as Kabinett gets. Wow. Like 1970’s Kabi.

Really a delicious Kabinett. Seems quite classic to me. Intense acid and nose and minerally mouth coating palate. At 8% one you feel you can just drink and drink.

Holt shit. Screaming typicity.

Nose: mineral. Wispy. Minerals made from flowers.

Palate: green apple skin. Mineral. So clean.

Dictionary mosel kabinett.

Still Riesling champagne.

Day 2 - a little bit more sweetness. More modern classic kabinett. Really laser- like. Silk. Utter silk.

This is electric. The 2021 vintage is fire and this balances acidity and slight sweetness perfectly.

Nose: airy. Mineral. Green apple.

Palate: perfect kabinett fruit. Green apple. So crisp. Like the first bite of an apple.

Really a lovely kabinett from Wehlener Sonnenuhr by Gunther Steinmetz. Very well balanced. 8% abv which is perfect for a Monday night.
