My first Ohio wine, found at a friend's house and had to taste it.
Dark yellow in color.
Simple nose and full bodied with medium minus acidity.
Off dry on the palate and smooth with mild complexity.
Showing citrus, over ripen apples, peaches, apricots, honey and spices.
Medium plus on the finish with limes and honey notes.
This 15 year old is still very drinkable, which is a nice surprise.
12.6% alcohol by volume.
