2011. Good basic southern rhone wine. Bulky nose with black plum and a touch of earth. Pretty straightforward for anytime drinking with some sweet black fruit and cinnamon-infused milk chocolate on the palate, if not a bit flabby.

Really dark fruit flavors with provencal herbs joining the party. I always love these wines for their old world funk and roasted fruit characteristics.

Oct 5th, 20172011. Wonderful mix of black fruit and earthiness. Very right for a southern Rhone. Spice, garrigue, old barn wood, tar. Love the taste. Finish is 20 seconds. I liked the 2010 even more, but this is great for the money.
