Wine of the night and more. An incredible example of how good Morgon can be. Complexity, length, structure, and the rest.

Starting to lose freshness and the round sweet cherry fruit. I wouldn’t hold the 2014 vintage much longer. This was from a 1.5ml bottle. Drinkable.

Old faithful. ‘14 is open for business

Umami beef jerky. Super smooth classic ‘14. Fruity but not heavy. Soft tannins. Dried concentrated fruit. Nice!!

2014 vintage Brett and fruit here wild fruit the character of Gamay hanging on like this but so close to my threshold - great with duck

While graphic, not entirely inaccurate. Gddddamn I love this juice.

Strawberry balsamic dominating a long, silky mouthfeel and finish. Balanced and beautiful and still could have gone longer.

Not much to say about this benchmark bojo that hasn’t already been said, other than this vintage is a bit darker, denser and less open than others. It’s very enjoyable now with its supple texture, plentiful acid, sweet blackberry, dark cherry, campfire and dank earth flavors. But will hold the rest of these 2-3 more years as it has the potential to be special.
