Jun 19th, 2026A new fave from Girard. Stunning nose of wet earth, chord progression cherries, wet moss, wild mint and so feral and stoney. Glorious. 2023 is so good! Palate is so lush, yet has bold Pommard tannins that finish super stoney. Juicy and so dense but elegant as hell. Unreal fruit and concentration. Just epic. Let’s see how air treats it. Lush and energetic on day two with amazing black cherry and such depth. A baby but so delicious.

Jan 10th, 2026Nose is wispy cherry, dark cherry, sour cherry and just a whole mess of cherries, but also tweed jacket and so much minerality. Stony minerality. Licorice. Sweet red licorice. Ripe nose and deep dark fruit. Juicy, clean and pure. Furry tannins. So sappy and juicy with tiny berry fruit intensity. Wide open Pommard and that mineral imprint. Unreal freshness and acidity and the tannins are big and Pommard but gentle. After 7 hours the nose is deeper and even more sinewy. Just gorgeous. So deep, so slippery and unreal sweetness. Just insane. So so good. 9.6 to 9.7. On Day 2 the nose is just stunning. Dark fruits, minerals, brooding. Palate is so juicy, sweet and velvety. Brooding and mineral and so stoney.
