Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

Crisp and fresh. New vintage, same solid NZ SB.

Quite pleasant with Pat’s grilled salmon steaks. Emblematic grassy herbaceous Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.

Lemon grass, lemon zest, and lime on the nose. Lemon, lime, quince, and asian pear on the palate. Medium alcohol and high acid with a long citrus finish.

Pear scented. Sharp with alkaline sourness. Dry, long finish. Not great as a food pairing.

Fruity and sweet with just enough acidity to balance it out. Flowery aromas. For 13.95 at lawc. Would get again.
