Pale, translucent with salmon rim variation / fresh earth, dried red fruit or bramble, game, mountain scrub, thyme, jerky? / med- body showing red raspberry, some strawberry, both offset with savory tones / slim Jim, fruit roll up / Blind I might’ve called this Fleurie, but it’s definitely a little more complex than that—these wines are hidden gem

Reds from This region can have a real creosote component- can either turn off or be catnip to some. I belong to the latter group. This is a 2017 wine.

Bright red fruit. Green pepper-y. Beaujolais-like. Wanted to love it but just didn’t do it for me.
