Secondary is muted red berries, which follows through on the palate. This is an earthy pinot noir, probably would go well with a well-made mushroom risotto. Nice acidity, nice weight and pretty nicely drinkable.

Jan 16th, 2015Interesting flavor - almost smoky. It was a nice light wine, however, and worked well with what we were having for dinner, but I am curious what varies between years... and am not convinced I would spend the money on a “maybe.” (Side note: We had the 2012 vintage.)
