Splendid KS #rioja #riserva. Give it a little time in the glass for the new American oak to blow off. Then earthy dark fruit, underbrush, leather, mushrooms aromas waft out. Peppery spicy on the front palate, firm tension, mouth-swaddling generous tannins and a touch of pepper on the long finish. Incredible food-friendly wine considering the awesome QPR: $8 at Costco.
