La Follette
North Coast Pinot Noir
North Coast, California, USANeeds to decant for a bit as the alcohol content is quite strong, but redeems itself with some yummy raisins and blackberries. Falls off too quickly at the end; screw top makes it easy to see if it might be better tomorrow.

Supple red fruit, dried flowers, and forest floor, with graceful tannins and acidity.
Fruit sourced from RRV and Mendocino county. The best $20 Pinot I can remember.

Sonoma Pinot Noir at its best. Fruity but not so much. Light and flavorful. Good with shrimp cocktail.
