Just popped the '12 vintage and it's stellar right out the gate. Spice box aromas of clove and kola nut, red and purple flowers, dried cranberries and fresh cherries. Very seductive. Soft and tart on the palate. 100% Nebbiolo, but a fraction of the tannin typical of a Barolo or Barbaresco of the same age.
