Sonoma Mountain Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Blackberry, raspberry, currant, vanilla, licorice and oak. Good structure and well-integrated tannins.

Silky and smooth for a young gun. Like laying in a bowl of fresh blackberries.

2013 vintage. Captures more than a bit of that old-school, 80's-90's Laurel Glen magic and oomph. Firing right now and for the foreseeable future. Medium/medium-heavy body. 2.18.26.

Floral at first but open nice

For a wine that will age so very well, it’s a stunner four years after the vintage.

Day 2. Concentrated dark cherry aromas and, while still tannic, its softened and has really opened up. This is what Cab should taste like.

Laurel Glen Vineyard 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon: Opaque purple, very aromatic, good richness of fruit, length and texture; ripe tannins, juicy acidity. This wine has a [ripe] dark fruit character, suggestive of purple stone fruit and blackberries, with understated red undertones and lingering spice notes.
