Based on the other ratings I think this bottle either turned or may be too young to drink for the vintage (2015) I found it very acidic and lacking in any depth of flavor or finish.

A California cab franc for sure on the front palette but softens and provides a very pure expression of the grape. Really enjoyed this wine. The D&R was okay at best.

Color is deep red, tannins are medium minus, acidity is medium. Heavy on red cherry, some clove and anise, finishes with a lot of tobacco. I love tobacco in a red, but this is a little heavy, ending up tasting a little like wet wood pulp

Nice balance, some tartness up front and a little herby greenness on the back
