Tecce time again. Had this same bottle last April. As amazing as I remember! Love the meaty, metallic notes balanced by concentrated fruit. So complex. Rich 15% abv. A joy to drink, and changes by the hour. One of my favorite producers by far.

Apr 24th, 2026Another killer Tecce. Wow. No decant. Blackberries, blueberry compote and citrus accents on the nose. Very assertive tannins and acidity (still a bit young). Tart cherry, tangerine, ash, and dried herbs with a gamey and metallic quality. Such a long finish. Really feeling the tannins, but balanced by all the complex dark fruit. Mouth-puckering. Let’s see what happens on day 2!
Day 2 is even nicer. The acidity calmed down and I’m getting some notes of unsweetened dark chocolate. Softer tannins, but still a good grip. Dark fruits are solid, with more black cherry than berries. Just great.
