Don Miguel Vineyard La Masia Chardonnay

Typically not a big fan of California chard, but it has smooth oak

Nose of citrus and florals. Light and smooth. Florals and hint of citrus on palate. Just a great all around Chardonnay from the Marimar wine club!

The Oakes version of this vineyards Chardonnay this vineyard located in the Petaluma gap planted in 1989 and this is a very densely planted vineyard

Hazelnut, toast, buttered popcorn.

A wine on my radar ever since meeting the Torres in 94. Attitude here with lemon curd, matchstick, white fruits. Palate long, rich, zippy acid ensuring life ahead. It's divisive... But I thoroughly enjoy this rich, polished and aggressive Chardonnay. Certainly high class.
