Mas Cavalls Doña Margarita Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016

Our friend described this as forest floor. Did have wet forest smells along with mushrooms, dry blackberry and raspberry with a slight musty funk. Felt like this bottle was just a touch sweeter (not dessert wine sweet just that the dark fruit had fermented a bit more). Good wine. — 4 years ago

Estate Grown & Bottled Don Miguel Vineyard Albariño 2018

Delightful, highly aromatic. Bouquet hits you with peaches and fresh flowers. Notes of peaches, melon, and some minerality like wet gravel. $17 at our local Costco. — 5 years ago

Don Miguel Vineyard Earthquake Block Pinot Noir 2016

Excellent! Has the body and fruit of a Cali pinot but balanced with the earthy and acidity of a burgundy pinot. Go Braves! — 5 years ago

Dark ruby coloration. On the nose, cherry, coffee beans, earth and citrus peel. On the palate, cherry, strawberry, a lot of earthiness, coffee, anise, dark chocolate with a long finish. Tannins are still strong. — 5 years ago

Don Miguel Vineyard Estate Grown & Bottled Syrah 2017

Cherry cola, nutmeg, and dark berries. This is cool climate, new world Syrah. It’s clean, shows evidence of classy French oak aging, fruit forward and balance. Well done! — 4 years ago

Rosaleda Don Miguel Vineyard Rosé of Pinot Noir 2019

2019 Marimar Estate rose of Pinot Noir from the Don Miguel Vineyard in Russian River Valley: Rosaleda. Medium hued pink coloration. On the nose, apple, lemon and florals. On the palate, buttery smooth mouthfeel, quite citrusy with a long lemony finish with hints of apple and florals. After an hour notes of sweet watermelon and pink grapefruit became more prevalent. — 5 years ago
