Montepiazzo 2018- valpolicella Classico superiore. Deep ruby coloration. On the nose, cherry and cigar box. On the palate, cherry, cigar box, bitter. With the cheese pairing the wine was smoother, not bitter and it brought out the cherry. Brought out the sweet cherry notes. Light tannins. Short finish.
