Dark ruby fruit. Still primary. Very pure with plums and intensity. Quite alcoholic

Big bright fruit nose. The palate is soft and velvety soft fruit and elegance. Intoxicating black currant jam.

lovely herbal nose, very structured, concentrated, but fresh and mineral

Masseto marathon. Go the distance. Beauties.

Mineral, complex, earthy, cooler vintage notes.

Well made, competent, fine. Oak not yet integrated, overpowers ripe fruit at this stage. One would be hard pressed to call this as Italy vs Calif blindly.

Silky smooth this perfectly balanced Merlot is a testament to Axel Heinz's first year as the Massey Estate Director and an indicator of the great wines to follow.
