Serralunga d'Alba Langhe Nebbiolo
Langhe, Cuneo, Piedmont, Italy
Black cherries, sun dried tomatoes, dried thyme, graphite, orange rind, roses. Perfectly balanced rounded acid/rough velvet tannin grip, full bodied, evolving juicy texture, long smoky/pepper/herbal final. Structure driven, firm and exceeds well beyond price point. One of the better village nebbiolo's out there.

This is really an excellent wine. No bright young flavors, no noticeable wood, great subtle aroma and balance. Just wish it wasn't $64.

At sportello - cherry and tannin, medium body. Better with food than without

Fresh cherry nose dominates. Underripe strawberry palette. Tannins are dense and very very dusty. Good.
