Ruby red, slightly cloudy, high pigment extraction. Raspberry and red fruit aromas, slightly tart, raspberry, jam, black pepper and cranberry flavors with a hint of mint-menthol. Moderate plus skin astringency, some seed bitterness on finish. Plenty of tannins here so decant or age. This is a micro producer and his wine is worth supporting if you come across the label. It’s honest winemaking from someone with a passion for traditional Spanish varietals
