On a cold, snowy subzero Fahrenheit night with the fireplace roaring Mrs A and I decided to switch from the more traditional winter wines to a summery Sauvignon Blanc from the Okanagan’s Mission Hills Estate. This lovely balanced wine displays aromas of grapefruit, lemon, lime and may I say herbaceous notes and its crisp finish was a perfect match for Christmas leftovers of turkey, ham, whipped potatoes and cranberry sauce. This is an enjoyable and approachable wine year-round that is worthy of your attention. Cheers 🍷🇨🇦
