Delicious but the dominant flavour here is oak. Secondary to the oak is black fruit and in the background is the green/pyrazines.

Jul 14th, 2015Good opulent nose showing chocolate mint, blackberry, cassis, vanilla. Big, soft, balanced, fine chewy tannin. Quite flashy, but easy to like. One for BBQs.

Top of my list. Super consistent all years. Awesome complex long finish, a bit strong in flavour so try it with strong matching foods like a good roast or a marinated BBQ. If you like flavoursome reds, this Chilean classic will also become one of your favourites.
