Medium light garnet , light garnet rim . Quite sweet red cherry and raspberry , a bit funky (though this cleared up a little with time in the glass) , medicinal . On the palate quite high acidity with red fruited cherry , raspberry, and a cool slate like character , again a bit funky and nervy . Quite high acidity and slightly bitter tannins . Ok length, sour cherry , medicinal , slate and saline finish . A light red really , not a rose , so a bit out of context in this tasting ! This can probably age a little further too , from now and over the next 5 years or so.
