Slander California Pinot Noir

The slander is really good, it’s very unconventional but at the same time it’s not. Bold cherry fruit but also light with a clean finish. Beautiful on the nose with a bouquet of cherry and red fruit. Red fruit on the palette with a slight hint of oak. It’s a pleasant wine that will age well for close to a decade. I recommend trying it, I would purchase it again.

Surprisingly balanced given high abv (16%)

Alcohol is just too much to be enjoyable. Medicinal and way too extracted. Like eating cherry pie then washing it down with robitussin.

First Pinot of the fall. What a treat!

Lighter but excellent. With DF on his bday at North.

Big cherry fruit. Notes of cola and violets. Smooth tannins and balanced acidity. Easy drinker that is very food friendly. Not for the “Pinot Traditionalist”, but a good option for New World wine fans.

Amaze. Russian river style pinot at its finest.

Pretty big and velvety Pinot. It was not what I expected from a Pinot, but I would love to drink it again.
