Medium Ruby color with aromas of dark berry fruits with notes of herbs, citrus and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cranberry and cherry with espresso, vanilla and herb tea spice, well balanced with acidity. Fine tannins on a long finish ending with cacao, baking spices and earthy character. Very nice!

We had the 2017 Vintage on 1/23/26. There was an herbaceous bouquet. Tastes of red fruit but green pepper as well. This belies the cooler vintage and cooler location. I have had better from Patz and Hall.

Medium-bodied wine with perfumed aromas of dried roses, mushroom & plum sauce. Full mouthfeel with notes of allspice & cherry pie. Good amount of acidity & a candied fruit finish.
