Forgot I had this mag at my warehouse, great nose obviously a day 2 wine,,or day one with a hefty decant.
Actually I like this over the 14 old sparky, the flavor profiles really stand out. It just keeps going & going
Parker 94+ is ridiculous.?
Maybe back then but now so much better

Blue and black fruits. A lot of density and terroir. This took about 5 hours decanting and in the glass to fully open up.

Excellent pairing for steak. Robust wine that turned super smooth.

Went head to head with ‘15 Caymus SS and IMO beat it out handily.

Bright blue fruit and then a wave of tannins with power behind it. Really great wine that was open from the first pour. Via Coravin.

. A deep black garnet hue, the wine boasts aromas of crème de cassis, cocoa powder, damp earth and anise. The weighty palate unveils concentrated layers of red currant, freshly picked blackberries, graphite, and spice box. The finish delivers, ripe, ultra-fine tannins wrapped around the core of dense fruit.
