Val do Salnés Rías Baixas Albariño
Rías Baixas, Galicia, Spain

This Albariño shows lemon, lime and lanolin on the nose, with a whiff of apricot. The pale color is that of golden straw, and the palate comes forth with a mighty acidity and a mouthful of green apples, on the tart side. Minerality makes a big play, and the finish is medium-long with a citrus zestiness.

May 5th, 2019First Albariño, so take this recommendation with a grain of salt (appropriate since salinity is definitely in play here). Honeydew and pina colada aromas, pineapple and wax flavors. Was great with a spicy Thai stir fry and I could see it pairing well with any fried deliciousness.
