Peay Vineyards
Elanus Estate Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

Still soaring. Definitely a few more years left in it. A short decant is all it needs today

We were very fortunate to be invited to attend a private tasting with Andy Peay a couple weeks ago. We started by tasting through the entire Peay range, and enjoyed them all very much. At the end of the evening, the hosts shared one Peay wine from their private collection that I didn't even know existed- the Elanus, which an estate wine that is only made in exceptional years. The wine was quite a revelation. Wow. Smooth, supple, elegant and ethereal, while delivering layers of complexity and a depth of fruit that was just fabulous. I hope I'll get to try this again sometime.
