The king is back. Exquisitely mineral nose. Pommard stoniness. Florals like crazy. Unreal spice. Exotic perfume. But the palate is the star of the show. Absolutely mind bending. Juicy, nimble, so refined and pure. Huge concentration and lush. It’s tight and spicy now but man is this just an incredible bottle of Pommard. Very age worthy. So elegant and still holding its Pommard frame. Just awesome. Let’s see what air does. On day 2 this has a glorious mid palate but of opulence. Nose is so mineral. Floral/mineral. Unreal fruit soak on the palate and extraordinary tannins.

Mar 14th, 2026Wow. So floral. Milk chocolate covered cherries. Massive minerality. Deep and sinewy. Palate is so dense and so complex. Juicy and closed and has the most amazing fruit. Huge acid and a clipped finish. Out of balance but the guts are all there. This is a revisit. Terrific inner mouth aromas. Big tannins. Needs time. Graceful. After 7 hours this is insane. Nose is mossy and stoney. Deep. Wild. Feral. Palate is so supple, so elegant and has the most stunning late breaking tannins. Stoney as Pommard is but my goodness what stunning finesse. 9.6 to 9.8. Awesome concentration and depth. Really deep. My goodness that nose on day 2. Unreal depth. Moss. Mineral. Stones. Wild mint. Sweet black cherry. So awesome. Perfect balance and big Pommard tannins but so rustic. So elite. Weightless yet has so much weight.
