A little flashy for my tastes.. Will more time in the bottle wash out some of the sweetness? I think the structure is there to go a few more years and find out.

Bought at the vineyard in 2006. This beauty has held its ground. One more bottle to go. Will hold for a few more years. With ATS and Butchery ribeye.

2001 Poggio Antica Brunello. Two bottles at Sunday dinner at Toscana w K and crew. This was the youngest wine and that def showed. Super inky, thick, and tannic. Hard for this one to shine competing against the magnum of Solaia or the Conterno.

Crazy good. Plenty of power left but it's so intense, smooth and at its peak now. Dark tart cherry, hints of black licorice, long finish.
