Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel

Fooled me as a tarty cherried blend of valpolicella and Grenache. The lightest dancing of sour cherries expression of Zinfandel. Way to get me to go Greek 😉

Great food wine! Nice plum, black raspberry, anise, pepper, and baking spice that comes across like chocolate cake. Good fruit, but not overly so. Full disclosure, I love Zinfandel, and have a bias.

Very aromatic after taste

Big, red cherry, jammy but refined. Love this.

Very good all around wine. Fruity, full bodied, soft texture, prunes and other dried fruits, and it finished smoothly with a touch of dryness

Nice and balanced, fruit forward and mild spice.

Full throttle zin, packs a fruit bomb punch. A lot to take in after the subtle Barbera we started with. I enjoyed this but certainly nothing memorable to report.
